A Good Business, A Good Neighbor
Enviva is a leading global renewable company specializing in sustainable wood bioenergy. We are the world’s largest producer of sustainable wood pellets, providing a reliable, low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels. We make our wood pellets right here in Mississippi and throughout the U.S. Southeast. Production in Mississippi comes with investment in Mississippi. The investment in the Bond plant will bring Enviva’s total investment in Mississippi to over $600 million.
OUR PLANT
Building Responsibly
We have a large parcel of land, about 315 acres, to build our manufacturing facility. The project footprint will be in the middle of the site, taking up about 75 to 100 acres. The rest of the acreage is mature timber that will provide a sound and visual buffer around the plant’s perimeter.
